Description

‘Girl holding large vase of flowers’ is the first lino print I submitted to a London gallery and it was accepted. So it will always be special to me.

The girl with rather wild, curly hair, is cradling a large vase overflowing with beautiful blooms and foliage.

Taken from an original pencil drawing and then carefully carved into a large lino block.

Printed with Cranfield Caligo ink onto Japanese Awagami silk pure white paper, with deckled edges. Printed in my favourite dark brown – Van Dyke brown.

Unframed. A3 size.

NB There are 2 versions of this print, Van Dyke brown and a dark green. Use the drop down to choose the one you would like to order.

Please note: Each print is unique and due to the hand-printed nature of this work there may be the odd imperfection – part of the joy, charm and authenticity of the printmaking process! Perfect for adding character to any space, especially when grouped with other pieces.
