Description

I Could be a Florist is a beautiful, handmade lino print of a charming vignette: a girl’s trainers peeking out beneath a red checked skirt, holding a large bouquet of flowers.

Taken from an original pencil drawing and then carefully carved into two separate lino blocks to make a print of two colours.

Printed with Cranfield Caligo ink onto Japanese Awagami silk pure white paper, with deckled edges. Printed in my favourite dark brown – Van Dyke, with the skirt in a vibrant red.

Unframed. A3 size.

Please note: Each print is unique and due to the hand-printed nature of this work there may be the odd imperfection – part of the joy, charm and authenticity of the printmaking process! Perfect for adding character to any space, especially when grouped with other pieces.
