Description

Protea is a beautiful, handmade lino print of a charming vignette: a hand with a striped sleeve holding a large protea bloom.

Taken from an original pencil drawing and then carefully carved into a lino block and printed by hand.

Printed with Cranfield Caligo ink onto Japanese Awagami silk pure white paper, with deckled edges. Printed in my favourite dark brown – Van Dyke.

Unframed. 29 x 29cm square.

Please note: Each print is unique and due to the hand-printed nature of this work there may be the odd imperfection – part of the joy, charm and authenticity of the printmaking process! Perfect for adding character to any space, especially when grouped with other pieces.
