Description

Love My Pointy Shoes is a beautiful, handmade lino print of a charming vignette: a girl’s pointy shoes peeking out beneath a pleated skirt, set against a backdrop of vintage-style floral wallpaper.

Taken from an original pencil drawing and then carefully carved into two separate lino blocks to make a print of two colours.

Printed with Cranfield Caligo ink onto Japanese Awagami silk pure white paper, with deckled edges. Printed in black and a dusky denim blue. The flowers on the wallpaper are painted in after printing.

Unframed. 30 x 33cm.

Please note: Each print is unique and due to the hand-printed nature of this work there may be the odd imperfection – part of the joy, charm and authenticity of the printmaking process! Perfect for adding character to any space, especially when grouped with other pieces.
