Description

Kimono Girl is a beautiful, handmade lino print of a girl wearing a striking kimono, set against a backdrop of blue sky and delicate tree branches.

Taken from an original pencil drawing and then carefully carved into two separate lino blocks to make a print of two colours.

Printed with Cranfield Caligo ink onto Japanese Awagami silk pure white paper, with deckled edges. Printed in Van Dyke brown, with powdery blue background and honey brown branches.

Unframed. A3 size.

Please note: Each print is unique and due to the hand-printed nature of this work there may be the odd imperfection – part of the joy, charm and authenticity of the printmaking process! Perfect for adding character to any space, especially when grouped with other pieces.
