Part of my ‘Sew seeds for bees please’ seed packet series. I have been working on these lino prints alongside bigger prints, with the aim of making 12 and then collating them into a calendar.
For now you can buy these individual A4 handmade lino prints and group them together. Perfect for gardeners and flower lovers, there’s something for everyone, from dahlias and cowslips to hellebores, peonies and snowdrops.
Taken from an original pencil drawing and then carefully carved into a lino block to make a print. Each of the seed packets is slightly different in design but they are all the same size.
Printed with Cranfield Caligo ink onto Japanese Awagami silk pure white paper, with deckled edges. Printed by hand in a lovely dark sage green colour.
Unframed. A4.
Please note: Each print is unique and due to the hand-printed nature of this work there may be the odd imperfection – part of the joy, charm and authenticity of the printmaking process! Perfect for adding character to any space, especially when grouped with other pieces.
