Lino Print Ideas: Sketch of Lee Miller From My Trip

For the last couple of years I’ve made sure I take my sketchbook with me when I’m on holiday. It’s the best time to draw, when there’s nothing else to think about or do!

I have been meaning to draw this picture of Lee Miller for ages, just love her style, the sunglasses are cool! I did a bit of reading on her while I was away too, and went to the cinema when I got home, it’s a pure coincidence that there’s a Kate Winslet film about her out now. I really liked the film but was a bit disappointed that it didn’t cover her life before the war. She was an amazing lady though.

I’m hoping to make this into a lino print soon, adding it to my list…
