A few snaps from my first artist evening in London last week. Really chuffed to have one of my lino prints selected by Bankside Gallery, along with lots of other artists. 300 pieces selected from 1500 applications from all over the world! 😁
“An exhibition showcasing the powerful, ambitious and impressive nature of works in all forms of printmaking created on a small scale”
Bankside gallery is home to The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, established in 1880, one of the world’s leading organisations representing the work and interests of printmakers. I’ve been to see a couple of exhibitions here before so it’s really nice to see my work on the wall in my first year of printmaking.
I feel like I have a long way to go but this is a pretty good start, right?! Do go and see the exhibition if you can, it’s a lovely gallery, right near Shakespeare’s Globe, the Millennium Bridge and Tate Modern. Only open until 29th September though so hurry!
